LMLK Angels – Messengers of God

  • Angel is “malak” in Hebrew and means messenger and “melek” means king or ruler
  • Angel is a righteous messenger of the King or God
  • Gabriel is an example of an angel. His name is geber meaning “mighty man or warrior” and ‘el” is “of God” He may have come in full armor. 🙂
  • Ancient Pottery has a symbol of a bird and the letters LMLK meaning “of the king”
  • Angel Gabriel tells Joseph, “Fear not to take Mary as thy wife… for she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:20-21) Fulfilling the prophecy, “The Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Emmanuel (God with us).” Isaiah 7:14 When Joseph names the child he is legally claiming him as his own.  “Jesus” means save his people.
  • Prophets are also Messengers.
  • Jeffery R. Holland, a Prophet, Seer, and Revelator talks about angels:
    • In the gospel of Jesus Christ, you have help from both sides of the veil, and you must never forget that. When disappointment and discouragement strike – and they will – you remember and never forget that if our eyes could be opened we would see horses and chariots of fire as far as the eye can see riding at reckless speed to come to our protection. They will always be there, these armies of heaven, in defense of Abraham’s seed. (For Times of Trouble, 18 March 1980
    • “On the other side of the veil, there are angels riding with their chariots of fire to be a protection for your child.”
    • “I testify that Angels are still sent to help us.”
